Came to visit my brother-in-law here in Toronto, Canada. We ate at Lahore Tikka House.  This  restaurant is not like your typical restaurant.  The decor is plain and simple.  However, it makes it feel very casual. I love that!

My first time eating Pakistani cuisine. It was incredible!! At the end of dinner, I was so stuffed I can't move! Lol the staff were so friendly!! The atmosphere was great!!  The place is packed with people. I would definitely like to come back!

    My poor rating doesn't matter.

You also have this quirky method of a dry erase board w marker, fill out your order, bring it to cash, (can't pay yet), then wait.. eat, now u can pay at the cash.  U can only get a drink if I ask wait staff.  This place is odd.  Menu is written all over in sharpie, new prices I'm guessing.!?  Don't want to print new menus, maybe just ask the customers to print it up, we do other jobs already...?  Anytime I need to line up twice (with waiters), to place the order than pay for the order; waste of time.  Pay when u order, sit down, eat and then leave.

Overall, it was something.  It was cold, baby was screaming; get me out off here....
Did I mention it's $25 for curry chicken...?

The restaurant is an interesting dining experience. My main complaint is this place leaves a terrible eco footprint. All utensils are disposables, so each table served must leave behind a lot of trash.

The butter chicken was good. All of the dishes were good and not too spicy for my bland palate. Would have been nice if they had outdoor space open (it was sitting empty in the summer) since i don't think the place has AC so it was quite warm inside.

The food is delicious and the service is also good. Their system is unique (and funny). You write up your order on a mini white board and walk up to the counter... it's weird :)
The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the food is overpriced. 2 ppl with food, beverage and 1 desert is $70!!

Came here for dinner on a Saturday. Place was busy! Waited about 10min...not bad consider the server told us the wait could be up to half an hour.

Tried their specialty chai, which is only available on weekend. Creamy and spicy...with bits of almond in it.

Had the large biryani. Plenty of leftovers to take home!! Also tried the mixed tikka, which was a good way to try all the different types of chicken. And of course, had the naan. Not the best I've had but decent.

Overall interesting vibe and very friendly servers. Also recommend asking for chilies which are grilled and salted, then taken right off the spit for you!
